ACCOMMODATIONS
Blue Dory
Lodge is a full service lodge on a remote island off of Kodiak
Island, Alaska. The lodge is a ranch style home with a spectacular
panoramic ocean view from the large living room, dining room, and
deck areas. Three bedrooms are guest rooms with single, double, or
queen bed options. Sleeping arrangements depend on number of guests
as well as guest options. Every effort is made to accommodate
preferences when available.
Electricity
is furnished by generator (usually in the evenings). We have a
large bathroom facility with full hot and cold running water.
Guests can rest at the end of the day in our wood fired hot tub,
and watch the Northern Lights dance in the sky.
Gourmet
meals are served family style in the dining area. We specialize in
special diets, especially the gluten free meal, local organic
produce, and fresh Alaskan seafood entrees.
Hiking
trails surround the lodge to beaches, the monastery, and hillsides.
You can be assured of your safety and comfort while hiking, because
the Kodiak Brown Bears do not inhabit Spruce Island. If you are
lucky, you may even be able to visit our local dory builder in his
shop. He loves to have visitors and show off his latest wooden
boat.

We
recommend advance reservations. A 50% down payment
ensures your choice of date and time. Balance is
due 60 days before your trip. We recommend trip
insurance to safeguard your investment.

Blue Dory Charters is a licensed fishing guide service
and licensed for hunting transport only.
